This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase from trysquisho.com (the "Site"), interact with our marketing, or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the "Services").

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, "you" and "your" means you as the user of the Services, whether you are a customer, website visitor, subscriber, or another individual whose information we have collected.

By using the Site or providing us with your information, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site or provide us with your personal information.

Section 4. How We Share and Disclose Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information for monetary consideration. However, we may share your personal information with the following categories of recipients.

4.1 Service Providers and Vendors. We share information with third parties who perform services on our behalf, including Shopify (our ecommerce platform), payment processors, shipping carriers and logistics partners, email marketing and SMS platforms, customer support software providers, cloud hosting and data storage providers, analytics and reporting providers, fraud prevention services, marketing agencies and advertising platforms, and review and ratings platforms. These service providers only have access to the personal information they need to perform their functions and are contractually required to protect your information.

4.2 Advertising and Marketing Partners. We share information with advertising and marketing partners to deliver personalised advertising and measure campaign effectiveness. This may include platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, and other ad networks. Under certain privacy laws, the disclosure of personal information to these partners may be considered "selling" or "sharing" for the purpose of targeted advertising. See Section 8 for your rights and how to opt out.

4.3 Legal Compliance and Protection. We may disclose your information when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests; enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements; protect the rights, property, or safety of Squisho, our customers, or others; or detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.

4.4 Business Transfers. If Squisho is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, bankruptcy, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

4.5 With Your Consent. We may share your information for any other purpose with your consent or at your direction.

Section 5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our Site. We use the following types of cookies: strictly necessary cookies required for the Site to function (such as cart, checkout, and login cookies); performance and analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the Site; functional cookies that remember your preferences and personalise your experience; and advertising and targeting cookies placed by us or our advertising partners to deliver relevant advertising and measure ad performance.

For specific information about the cookies used by our Shopify-powered store, see https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies by default, but you can choose to remove or reject cookies through your browser settings. Please note that removing or blocking cookies may negatively impact your experience and cause some features of the Site to malfunction.

Our Site recognises the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If you notify us of your preference through GPC, we will treat such signal as a valid request to opt out of sharing or targeted advertising for the associated browser or device. We do not currently recognise other "Do Not Track" signals.

Section 6. Email and SMS Marketing

6.1 Email Marketing. If you have opted in or made a purchase, we may send you marketing emails about new products, promotions, special offers, and other content we think you may find interesting. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by contacting us at support@trysquisho.com. Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send you transactional emails related to your orders, account, or customer support.

6.2 SMS and Text Messaging. If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive SMS or MMS communications from Squisho, we will use your number solely to deliver transactional, informational, or promotional messages that you have explicitly agreed to receive. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You may opt out of SMS or MMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at support@trysquisho.com. Mobile phone contact information will not be shared, sold, rented, or otherwise disclosed to third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We use industry-standard security measures designed to protect your personal information, including encryption of payment data in transit, secure servers, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we retain your personal information depends on several factors, including whether we need the information to maintain your account, provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for other legitimate business purposes. When we no longer need to retain your information, we will securely delete or anonymise it.

As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" (as those terms are defined in applicable law) the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

Section 12. California Residents

If you are a California resident, in addition to the rights outlined in Section 8, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
